iCarly Birthday Party Theme

I’m just going to say right away that I’m not sure if television shows are supposed to be in italics or surrounded by quotation marks. Or are they supposed to be underlined? I don’t care…the purpose of this article is to describe to you a “perfect” iCarly birthday party theme, and if you’re all hung up on a small thing like that, I don’t know what to tell you. Maybe join a gym.

Have you seen the show? It’s fantastic. In fact, I always say it’s “like Seinfeld, only for kids”. And without a zany character who moonlights as a racial slur advocate.

It’s a great show, and a wonderful alternative to a lot of the junk that’s out there right now. So why not design a birthday party theme around it?

It’s easy enough, really. First off, tell the other parents what you’re doing; some of them might not approve of the show. But that’s O.K., because you wouldn’t want that adults weirdo kid at the party anyway! Let him or her stay at home with his matchbook collection. That’s pretty normal.

So once the invitations are out, find out how many are coming. Buy season one on DVD as a gift for your daughter, and let her open it before anyone comes over (that way, they can watch it during the party. get it?). Go to the store and get some iCarly things, like the remote control they use, as well as other things. Wow, I’m really not being very specific, am I? O.K., then do this: take your daughter with you to the aisle of Evil Mart and ask her to show you what to get.

Back at the house, the kids can do little skits like they do on the show, and they’ll most likely have a great time doing it. They can even record themselves singing the theme song and upload it to a PRIVATE YouTube channel!

It’ll be a blast. As long as that weird kid doesn’t show up.
